Yellow bear

This bear was my dads, I’ve always been told it’s ‘Rupert bear’. I’m u sure as to whether this is what my dad names him or if he is Rupert the bear out of the show/book.

He is quite old, he’s lost his tag and his smile. My dad is 50 this year of that helps anyone with figuring out what year this cutie is from. Does anyone have a similar bear? Would love to find out more about Rupert.
