Wendy Boston Bear

I was born 1964, was given my Wendy Boston Bear as christening gift. He,s still in prefect condition no bold patches seams in first class condition. He still has the original pink safety ribbon around his neck.
To be honest I will never sell him but I'm interested in the history and would he be classed as being antique.
It says that you have to write 400 words this is not an easy task given the fact the Wendy Boston and Pandy are a part of an ongoing story and forevermore a part of my life. So I could write lots of things about Wendy Boston and Pandy but I am interested in information on the history of my beats the company that created them.
