Tuppence Bear
Tuppence was my first memory bear. He’s been with me all my memorable life and was purchased in Benfleet Essex UK at Richmond Hall Christmas jumble sale around the late 1960s for tuppence old tuppence old money . He was always tatty!. However, his tattiness has reached epic proportions now 51 years on. He is stuffed with something straw like. He is bald. He has jointed limbs and head. He has one and a half eyes which may be glass, I’m not sure. His paws used to be leather I suspect. I’d love to know roughly how old he is. I’m hoping to have him sympathetically restored.
