Teddy bear found in skip in Northern France

old teddy bear found in skip
Hi,
I rescued this Teddy from a skip yesterday here in Northern France and I’m hoping to learn a little about him if I can.
Here is some information that might help you.
He is very firm to the touch
He has ‘chenille’ pads, paws and inner ears which originally were a claret colour but have now faded to brown
He has (sadly) a chain through his nose to his upper arm (I hate this!)
His nose is leather (I think)
He has upturned hands and feet
He is in pretty good condition apart from a little wear to his thigh area on one leg and the back of his ear.
He smells a little bit musty but not too bad
There is evidence of a ‘growler’ in his tummy but this no longer works
He measures 16” from the top of his head to his toes
He’s a mean looking so and so isn’t he? Or is he just a bit snooty?
Any information would be gratefully received. Just glad I spotted him before it was too late!
Kind regards,
Lynda
