Teddy Bear By The B & L Toy Co

I have a Teddy Bear that I have had for over 20 years given to me by a friend who had it for just as long, given to her from her mother in law.
It is a brown bear with solid beige button eyes and is wearing a plaid tie. It is By The B & L Toy Co.
it had the original tag on it and is in great shape.
I am wondering the value and age .
On the back of the tag it says “A Product of Distinction And Quality. It also says St.Hyacinthe P.Q
