Small white bear

Hello I was given this bear when I was less than one year old, 1977 London UK. I am currently 38. I do not know the original year that it was made. I still keep it with me because I was told it was sent from America by my mother's parents.
I am interested to know if anybody has a similar bear.
So if you can shed some light on the details for the construction of the bear or the type of materials used that would be interesting to know. And I hope you enjoyed looking at the photos of my very personal bear.
