I have an old teddy bear that is about 11 in tall, it has a rubber nose and mouth. It has brown transparent eyes that are black in the middle, the black is on the inside of the eye. Its head arms and legs are poseable. It is a dark reddish brown fur that is very worn, you can see stitching on seams. I cant find any tags or maker marks. Thank you Alan

please. I hope someone can help me. I have a 10 inch cubbi grund teddy bear. He was my first teddy that i can remember having as a kid. I am now 73 years old and trying to find a rubber nose with mouth. One of my four legged children ate teddys nose quit a long time ago. If anyone can head me in the right direction on, I would be very thankfull. robertmcbride7000@gmail.com

this is my bear too - I'm sure- mine has a music box in each leg? they played when you moved his legs--- broke many,many years ago

Gund did produce bears with rubber noses such as the CubbiGund however from the shape of this little guy it would appear to be by Ideal from the 50's.

Hi
I have checked my books and the closest I can find is a 1952 Cubbigund Cuddle Bear which came with a rubber nose and mouth such as yours and similar eyes. (A Gund Bear, made in New York)

However in the 1950's other US manufacturers also started to copy the rubber nose.
