Mothercare pink bear that rattles

Hello,

I found this teddy bear in the loft.

She’s light pink and rattles.

She’s from Mothercare.

What I’m trying to work out is was I given her when I was born or afterwards?

I seem to remember having her for years, but I have no memory of when I was given her and neither have my parents.

Does anyone have a similar bear and do they know what date it was purchased?

I would contact Mothercase but since they went into administration this year I doubt I’d have much luck there.

I was born in 1988.

Pink bear!

Hi Emily, my wife has this beer, it was given to her the day she was born in march 1989.
The pink bear was named Samuel, a name that stuck.
Samuel has lost most of his/her furr and is extremely well loved sporting many repairs over the years.
Great little bear and I know if will be passed down to my girls and hopefully for a few generations.

Mothercare teddy bear

I have this exact teddy, it was given to me on the day I was born by my aunty. She brought it from mothercare I was born 1989. I still have it to this day but she no longer has any fur as was extremely well loved. I also had one that was brown and one that was white and blue from when I was younger that werent as loved that I gave to my children 🥰🥰 (I would have popped a picture of them if I could)

My brother was given this bead in December 1985 so it must of been when you were born.
