Magic Bear
my bear is approx 6 to 7 inches high. Creamy coloured. I bought him at a church jumble sale in 1977 and he was already old and battered then. His head is shaped like a real bear with a muzzle. He has quite small ears. He has round brown eyes that could be glass and a very sad face. His body is furry but I don't know what the material is. There are no labels on him. The bottoms of his paws look like a felt like material. His arms and legs move fully. When you move his tail his head moves and I'm sure it used to nod as well but doesn't seem to at the moment. I would love to know what make he is and how old he is as he's part of the family and I want to pass him on to my son. I would guess by the condition he was in when I adopted him that he's 1950s or 1960s at the latest. Probably earlier. He cost me 5p at the jumble and I remember that was all I had left from my pocket money. My mum couldn't understand why I wanted him but he looked so sad and lonely I had to take him home.
