Large Steiff Brown Bear Approx 75cm Tall

Large Steiff Brown Bear

My husband was given this Steiff bear (new) whilst we were working in Cologne Germany in 1999. It is approximately 75cm tall. He still has his left ear stud and Steiff Ribbon and is in perfect condition. We really just want to garner any information we can in regards to whether he was part of a mass production or a limited edition?? He did not come with any paper work. What his approx value would be today? We cannot seem to find anything similar online. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
