Helping my friend find their bear

So my friend is looking for a bear that was donated to her in 2005-2006. They said it was a flattish star shaped brown bear. The clothes were actually made into the bears body. She shirt was a red and black plaid with a matching hat IN THE MIDDLE between the ears. The pants were green and on the shirt were three black buttons. They can’t remember exactly the shade of brown the bear is, but they remember the thread holding it together was gold. It was straight and flat. Not floppy. It did not have a year on the foot. It didn’t have overalls either. My friend is frantic about finding their precious childhood bear. Please help us out!
