Hand Made by J. Kerner label sewn on left foot

Found at the bottom of the plush bin at thrift store. Heavier than expected so I knew it was more quality. Glass eyes. Stitched nose. Red felt tongue. Four claw stitches per foot. Jointed. Firm when squeezed. Synthetic plush fabric. Approximately 17 inches tall. I have Google image searched as well as Googled the maker label and have found nothing. His little nose is kind of pointy. Not sure if he is old but it sure feels like he could be. The label is sewn on his foot and could be a J or maybe an F before Kerner. Velveteen type fabric foot pads. Any guidance is appreciated, thank you so much!
