French bear

Bourght in France, the bear is a sort of cinnamon brown with longish fur, centre stitched and feels as if it is stuffed with straw. It has black stitching on the hand and feet. I’m guessing it’s from the early 1900’s? Personally I don’t think it’s a steiff bear, although very similar, it has a few different characteristics. Would be really interesting to know! In the photos I used a DVD for size reference.
