Fred The Teddy Bear

Hi, my name is Anne and this is my old boy Fred. Got him in 1975 when I was 4 ears old. I am now almost 50. he is 60 cm long and 35cm wide. He has a plastic button nose, plastic eyes with scratches on them, as a child he was treated like most teddy bears, love and affection were the cause of these scratches. The Label is half worn and not sure where or how my mother acquired him. He has travelled from South Australia to Queensland and most places in between. He has brown fur which feels wiry and somewhat fragile but still sturdy and complete. I have my name on his feet which has since faded almost and his name Fred on his hand and I took him with me to hospital a few times as a young sick child. His arms move up and down as do his legs and his head turns around.he is a special bear and if anyone can shed some light on his origins please let me know as my father is now gone and my mother is old and has no recollection of where Fred originated.
