Father Christmas bear

Purchased in an op shop in Coober Pedy, South Australia. The ladies in the store told me that the bear originally was bought to Australia from Germany by a German family. Years after the father passed away the daughter who was then in her early 70’s brought in much of her fathers things to the op shop. She remembers her father telling her as a small girl that the bear was very old and came from Germany with them. It is very heave and I’m not sure what it is filled with. The lady at the op shop thinks the inside of the bear might be kapok.
