Daughters 1930's Teddy Bear

Hi this is my daughters teddy that was bought for her when she was born from an antiques shop there was no history to the bear and all i know is that it is from the 1930s. Iv looked for a tag or marking and i cant find any but iv also read that they didnt tag some bears in them years due to a shortage on metal in the world war 2 i dont know how true this is but that is literally all i have on the teddy. His stitching on his right foot has come lose which was like that when it was bought for my daughter other than that hes in quiet good condition so would love to get some info on the bear any help would be appreciated.
