Big Brown Bear

A friends mom has just passed and left him a beautiful stuffed bear. He's never seen it before and is stumped about it's history! We can't find any information on it and he needs help. It's a dark brown bear about a foot and half tall with a white collar and brown bow tie. It has white arm cuffs and one of the cuffs is signed along with the bear number. There is a photo of the bear in the box but no information on the photo at all. Hopefully you or someone can help us out, here are four attached photos. Thank you in advance!

It’s by Xavier Roberts and was made before he mass produced the furskins. He only did a handful of bears with the original cabbage patch kids line. You should be able to find them by searching for his name and debonair bear.

He looks very new to me. A very unusual looking bear I must say, I've never seen one like him before.

So you know nothing about the bear at all, how long the owner had it for instance. Does it look new to you or do you think they had him for awhile?

Perhaps someone on the fb group will recognize him. I'll post him there for you.
