I remember my brother-in-law buying me this teddy somewhere in Gloucester, UK; one of my earliest memories as a 5-year-old or so I think. I am now 74 going 75. The teddy plays ‘Rock a bye Baby’ when pressed repeatedly in the tummy. Obviously, there is an area of depressed fur here. I also attempted to cut his hair at some time in my childhood, so there is a mild cropping of fur on his head! There is also a small non-black patch (a few mm) on his snout Apart from these areas, he is in perfect condition and with fully articulated limbs, head, intact glass eyes, and a perfectly working music box. He stands about 45 cm high with a spread across his arms of 33 cm. His chest size is 38 cm! I'm not sure what material he is made from but it's a golden, soft fur about 5 mm long. There is no maker's tag to be found.
