2001 JC Penney holiday bear by Golden Bear Co.

(Photo is from Ebay as the bear currently resides at my parents house) I don’t know much about this bear, it was passed down to me by my Grandmother when she passed away in 2006. I found the eBay listing of the exact bear that I have but it is all that I have been able to find about it so far. I’m interested if it’s actually as rare as the listing claims it to be even thought I would never sell mine because of the sentimental value. I would love to know if anyone has any information! I also didn’t see it in the 2001 catalog, but I did skim.
