1970s Pale Yellow Bear With No Tag

My bear was given to me from my mom. It is in rough condition but I want to know what brand it is to learn more about it. It is pale yellow and has a unique red tongue that sticks out. It has plastic eyes and it seems that the fur used to be softer. Its nose is not hard plastic. It is two pencils long. It wasn't originally smooshed but it has had a well loved life. Please help us identify it. It was bought in Michigan.
