1950's Teddy Bear
A bear, I think, would have been between 12" & 18" in height - reference the child (myself) holding him as a guide. The photo was taken between 1952-56 & distinctive features of the bear were (from memory): black shiny PVC-like pads on arms & feet (seen shiny in photo): & large ears on the side of his head. I don't remember there being any squeaker or bells & all limbs were moveable. I think he was a golden colour fur (possibly mohair) that was appx. just under 0.5" long. He had stocky legs & no specific shape to hands or feet. I believe he was purchased in the UK & possibly in the London/Middlesex area.
